I know this is not a brolly (it's a vintage library cart) but I just wanted to show you all what I've been working on restoring.  On the cart are two planters to hang on your wall, inside or out.

Time and how to measure it.

I find a clock very useful when measuring time.  Oh look, here's one.  A beautiful wind-up banjo clock with a clipper ship motif.  (Go Clippers!)

This will work too.  A plug-in vintage Four Roses Whiskey clock.

And here's a perpetual calendar - this particular style with winding toggles is known as a "country calendar."  On next week's show we'll discover how to measure distance (perhaps find out what is a country mile).  But isn't that like measuring a measurement?  Oh, well, time flies.  We now know how long but not how far.  I'm beginning to confuse myself now, I better stop.
